How it goes
Someone's talking. You have a thought. You don't interrupt — you just throw it on the screen. A word. A fragment. A bad drawing.
Everyone else does the same. Nothing gets tagged, filed, or tied to what's being said. The pile grows and nobody has to defend anything.
When the call winds down, one person hits Structure it. Clusters appear. You rename them, merge them, throw two away. That's the whole tool.
Why the mess comes first
In a normal meeting, a thought has to be finished, relevant, and worth interrupting for before it's allowed out. That's three filters most good ideas never survive. So they end up on a sticky note nobody reads until Thursday, or nowhere at all.
We'd rather collect the half-formed stuff while it's still warm and deal with the sorting when the talking is done. Machines are fine at grouping things. People are terrible at remembering what they didn't say.
Structure too early is just editing with extra steps.
